Partridge

Screenprinted christmas card design. Am not sure you can tell it's either a partridge or a pear tree, and some of the detail's got a bit lost (there's an eye there somewhere)

Printmaking

A couple of experiments from last term's printmaking course. The bear is a two-colour reduction linocut, and the badger is a card-printing plate, which I preferred to the resulting prints...

Practising...

First attempt at a three-colour print (based on Aesop's Fable The Lion and the Mouse).

Screenprinting

Have just joined a screenprinting studio - here is a practice lemur from the induction session.

Pillow Fight results

Really happy to say this was one of the cushions selected to go on sale by the lovely folk at Ohh Deer! It's available online here, along with thirteen other winning designs (including this one by Tiger Tea) - all of which are great and I'm very flattered to be among them. :)

Pillow Fight update

Ohh Deer's Pillow Fight contest has been extended - all the entries are now available to buy online until late October. Which means if there's a lack of woodland-creature-based soft furnishings in your life, now is your chance to remedy things! You can order this Fox or this Bear by clicking the links :)
